Father Onesime Boyer, in "She Wears a Crown of Thorns", refers to Rose's having made her vows as foundress of the Sisters of Reparation of the Sacred Wounds of Jesus on the 8th of December 1928.
THE LITTLE ROSE FERRON SHRINE:
Who We Are!
We are instruments of His peace. "Where there is hatred, we sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair; hope; where there is darkness, light and where there is sadness, joy.
This is what the Lord asked of us and this is what Little Rose Chapel is all about. We feed the needy, clothe the poor, and we pray for the sick. In this we bring forth the true Light of Christ to all who come here. The Lord one day will ask each of us: “When I was hungry, did you feed me? When I was naked did you cloth me? When I was in prison did you visit me? ….
The doors of Little Rose Chapel are never closed to anyone. We are here for you. We are a shoulder to cry on and an ear to listen. We join you in prayer; we comfort you in illness; we offer our hand in love and friendship. We honor the Faith as taught by Christ and His Apostles, through the Church Fathers, and as proven by the Saints throughout the ages.
All that come here are welcomed as Christ would welcome you. Come, visit here whenever you need to feel that special Peace of and with the Lord. He loves it when you spend a few minutes with Him, and I promise you, that He will refresh you in body, soul and mind. The Blessings that many have received here are tremendous. Special physical healings have taken place but the Spiritual Healings are too many to count. Our Lord and His Mother along with our own Little Rose Ferron, who intercedes for you in Heaven, wait for you.
Little Rose Chapel has been opened since 1975 in honor of Marie Rose Ferron, known as Little Rose. This Shrine was founded by Mother Marie Rose Anctil, who is a Professed Nun of The Little Sisters of Jesus of The Reparation of the Sacred Wounds. We sponsor and pray for the beatification of our Little Rose. We are blessed to have two very holy relics of the sheets that received her blood during the suffering of her stigmata. She died at age 33.
The Chapel is never closed, and is open to all, both Christians and non-Christians. The Blessed Sacrament is ever present in the Tabernacle. He waits for your visit.
